These are the most amazing bottles ever...We started our daughter on Dr. Brown's bottles as soon as she came home from the hospital in June. Don't get me wrong - they're great bottles, but they're a nightmare to clean. We dealt with the hassle because they helped keep air out of her stomach and as a result she rarely threw up, and despite her being colicky (I was, so we anticipated that she would be also) we don't think the bottle contributed to it in any way.Then we wandered into a large Babies R Us two weeks ago and saw this new-ish Avent bottle... MIRACLE! I started by buying the newborn set at BRU (we had a gift card) just to see how they were. Our girl loved them, and so did we. One night after washing these beauties and we were sold.We ordered three of these sets and are in love. Our bottle washing time is cut in half and they're just as effective as the vented bottles, without the annoying extra parts to wash.I desperately wish we would have started with these since we have twenty Dr. Brown's bottles going unused, but I'm happily packing them up.These bottles are also amazing for travel and don't leak in the diaper bag (granted I didn't throw it in upside down, but I wasn't obsessively careful either). Seriously, try these... You owe it to your sanity!Avent bottles are my absolute favorite. First, I can attest to the effectiveness of the no colic valve system of the nipples- there is no air introduced in the milk to cause gas. I think they're even more effective than the Avent natural line.The nipples don’t leak milk when dropped or held upside down or on their side. The nipple can be upgraded to disperse more milk as your child ages, and there are even parts you can purchase to turn this bottle into a sippy cup with handle and a soft spout.I prefer the shape of these bottles as they heat up evenly and quickly in my electric bottle warmer, and they don’t topple out of cup holders in strollers, cars, etc. and fall on the ground.Best of all is ease to clean. Dissembled, the bottle, nipple, ring, and cover all fit inside my small part dishwasher basket and come out crystal clean. And if I hand wash, the entire head of my sponge wand fits inside the bottle and they get really clean. No small parts to breed mold ot bacteria. And because they have the wide mouth, they air dry faster. A great choice for moms!These bottles were purchased to replace our Dr. Bown set. Seems like every newborn/baby shower, these are usually the first choice. Don't get me wrong Dr. Brown bottles are good. But These AVENT bottles are a far better choice in the long run.My Wife pumps breast milk to feed our now 5mo old baby boy. The milk last a lot longer in these bottles than Dr. Brown. Definitely due to less plastic parts actually making contact with the milk inside. Less parts to clean thus faster improved overall time in cleaning, and sanitizing bottles ready for the next batch of milk.Bottomline:These AVENT bottles do not leak on the sides like Dr. Brown bottles. Which was one of the most aggravating thing about them. As we all know for a fact, Breast milk is the most valuable milk there is. So seeing it being wasted on the clothes or blanket was the turning point in why we decided to find another bottle set. As well as i mentioned before. A whole lot faster to clean making life that much more easier in the long run.so save your money and future frustration, and get this bottle set first. We highly recommend these AVENT bottles over any other.First I have to say that this was the best price I found for these bottles. Before buying these, I haven't tried these bottles yet with my little one. I have been using the natural Avent bottles that are more like a mother's breast. I went with these because we are no longer breast feeding and the pricing is much better than the natural. I was afraid of my son having a hard transition, but the nipples are somewhat similar so he didn't have any problems! These bottles are a little bit wider than the natural bottles and the nipples seem to be not as wide as the natural nipples. I am very pleased with my son not having any troubles transitioning to the new bottles. I still use the natural and he drinks from both of them with no problems. These bottles don't have any extra pieces like Playtex bottles or Doc Brown bottles. They are simply the bottle, the nipple, and the ring. My son has had no issues with gas or fussiness from these bottles. I would definitely recommend these to others with babies. I definitely plan on using them the rest of his time on bottles and for any future babies of mine.We purchased these after having Medela bottles for our first-born and we are definitely satisfied. Just to keep in mind, we are exclusively formula-feeding, so I can't attest for how well these bottles/nipples may work with breast-fed babies. Some of things we like about these bottles include:-Easy to clean, only 4 pieces: bottle, nipple, nipple ring, and cap-Cap snugly fits onto bottle, preventing leakage while in a diaper bag or shaking up formula-Wide bottle mouth makes cleaning with a typical bottle brush easier; no more splashing as you try to pull the brush out of the bottle-Nipple flow is perfectI think the only thing that isn't perfect about these bottles is that they only hold 4 ounces (compared to 5 ounces for Medela bottles). Our one-month-old is already drinking 4 ounces in one feeding; so this might be an issue in the near future.Excelente material y tamaño.Ya hace meses que compré estos biberones y sigo encantada con ellos.Me gustan por varias razones. La primera es el tamaño, aunque mi bebé/infante nunca ha tomado 11 oz, cuando tomaba su máxima dosis de 8 oz de fórmula, no tenía que batallar con el agua y el polvo para que no se derramaran mientras lo preparaba. Otra característica es que ya traen las mamilas sin ranuritas dentro y sin anillo lo que facilita enormemente la limpieza y armado, el cual se puede complicar cuando uno está medio dormido en la madrugada o bien cuando va en el carro.Y por último es que no deja que entre tanto aire a la pancita de mi bebé, como otros biberones que probé (evenflo, chicco, medela).Excelentre Producto de antemano la marca Philips se posiciona como una de las mejores en varios productos que ofrece uno de ellos los productos para bebes como mamilas,evaporizadores etc. etc otro cosa que despues de haber buscado en todas las tiendas departamentales y tiendas online solo y unicamente Amazon Mexico tenia el producto mas barato y la entrega antes del tiempo mencionado como siempre Amazon en mi oinion se posiciona como uno de los mejores o unico para mi para comprar onlineLa mejor Marca de biberones, me gusta su forma y el material tan resistente, aguanta todas las esterilizadas necesarias, y el material de los chupones no se deteriora con el uso.Los compre a un excelente precio y debo decir que nos encantaron a mi mujer y a mi. son super fáciles de lavar y secar, además de que mi hijo come mucho mejor y le encantan sus biberones :DPues ya más de un año de uso y solo se han opacado un poco pero siguen funcionando bien, cero fugas. Avent es caro pero vale la pena, muy buen producto.
